Texas: RCAT's Texas Roofing Conference

The Roofing Contractors Association of Texas lists its 51st annual Texas Roofing Conference for October 21-23, 2026, at the Gaylord Texan Resort & Convention Center in Grapevine. Commercial and residential education tracks run on Thursday and Friday. A licensing boot camp on Thursday, October 22, covers business and safety, residential roofing and commercial roofing, and RCAT lists it at 3 CEUs.

Texas contractors have reason to keep their training current. NOAA's Storm Events Database records 11,063 hail events of 1 inch or larger in Texas from 2016 through 2025, including 1,986 at 2 inches or more. RCAT's page on the National Roofing Directory is here.

The West: WSRCA's Western Roofing Expo

The Western States Roofing Contractors Association, which dates itself to 1974, brings its Western Roofing Expo 2026 to the Paris Las Vegas on September 27-29. The association describes a two-day trade show, 28 educational seminars and two keynote addresses. The Midwest: MRCA's first Leadership Summit

The Midwest Roofing Contractors Association, which calls itself the roofing contractor's advocate since 1949, is trying a new format this year. Its home page announces an all-new conference experience, the Leadership Summit, for November 18-19, 2026, in Cape Coral, Florida. The summit page describes it as MRCA's inaugural Leadership Summit for roofing contractor leadership and decision makers, with a tabletop showcase of products and services from manufacturers and suppliers.

For a sense of the region in the association's name, the same NOAA database logs 3,021 hail events of 1 inch or larger in Minnesota, 2,638 in Iowa and 1,636 in Wisconsin over 2016-2025. Find MRCA's listing on NRD.

Florida: the FRSA Convention & Expo

The Florida Roofing & Sheet Metal Contractors Association held its 104th Convention & Expo on June 10-12, 2026, at the Gaylord Palms Resort & Convention Center in Kissimmee. Several of its seminars carried Construction Industry Licensing Board continuing-education credit, among them a two-hour session on roofing changes in the 2026 ninth edition of the Florida Building Code, a one-hour session on wind mitigation methods and a one-hour session on building an OSHA inspection procedure.

The Carolinas: CRSMCA's Mid-Winter Roofing Expo

The Carolinas Roofing & Sheet Metal Contractors Association ran its 2026 Carolinas Mid-Winter Roofing Expo on February 17-19, 2026, at the Durham Convention Center, according to the association's site. No 2027 dates were posted when this page was checked, so watch the CRSMCA home page and its events calendar. For contractors on that side of the region, the Storm Events Database counts 1,130 hail events of 1 inch or larger, 330 tornadoes and 6,655 thunderstorm wind events there over 2016-2025.

Making a regional show pay off

Regional meetings can combine license credit with time among local peers. Florida's seminars carried state board credit and RCAT's boot camp is listed for CEUs, so bring whatever documentation your license renewal needs.
